are you guys proud of me for managing to make a page without a red and black theme
okay here is a big list of all the tech stuff i use, plus a mini review. hope you enjoy
here is a photo of my laptop.
look at her beautiful stickers
her name is charlotte and she's a lenovo flex ideapad 5 running windows. i'm going to switch over to linux at some point in the near future. this laptop honestly runs fine, it can play basically every video game i want it to play and for most of the things i use it for (coding, schoolwork, movies, basic stuff like that) it's completely fine. i don't use the touchscreen much but it's nice to have. i bought this laptop used and refurbished for like 300 usd, i got it used because i didn't want to buy from microsoft (bds boycott) and because i'm broke. overall this is like a 7/10 computer
here is a photo of my headphones.
they're JBL tune 720 bt's. i bought them on sale when they were around 40 usd, typically i think they go for around 80 usd? honestly i wouldn't buy them at that price since there are definitely nicer options but for 40 usd they were a good value. the sound quality is good and the battery lasts forever, which is nice. they don't have ANC but they seal around my ears well enough that they block out most noise. (side note: i need to add some earplugs to my Headphone Roulette because i keep getting overstimulated at work.)
here is a photo of my cd player.
this was given to me as a birthday present, so i don't know much about the company that made it, but i managed to track down the amazon listing. (obligatory don't buy from amazon if you can avoid it disclaimer)
it's a pretty good player. i need to put stickers or something on it because it looks kind of lame. i like that it can play mp3s from a micro sd card, and it doesn't really skip even if it moves while playing. i'm pretty sure that all walkman-style cd players made in this day and age are basically the same quality-wise, so honestly you could probably buy whatever and get the same value.
