RESOURCES/HELPFUL STUFF

This page is a collection of links and pages that you may find useful on your web travels :)

The Internet Archive

Doesn't even need an introduction. Biggest online collection of media in the world.

Free Media Heck Yeah

Huge collection of free stuff and piracy resources. An absolute must-look through if you're interested in internet privacy.

Cobalt

Online video downloader. Super useful for downloading off of YouTube, TikTok, Tumblr, or whatever.

Anna's Archive

A huge open source collection of books, journals, articles, comics, and anything written down. I use it for textbooks all the time.

Ocean of PDF

Another free book site. Not as extensive as Anna's Archive but still pretty handy.

Miruro

Hands down the BEST anime piracy site I've ever used in my life.

UBlock Origin

Best adblocker currently available as far as I can tell. Very consistent and reliable.

Marxist's Internet Archive

Huge collection of communist writings and information. If you don't know where to start with Marxism, look here.

Lucida

Fantastic high-quality audio ripper. It can be used for Spotify, Deezer, and more.

Heartive

Simple HTML movie site. I find it pretty nice to use.

Writer

Web-based writing software. Super useful and distraction-free.

FitGirl Repacks

My #1 go-to for PC video game piracy. FitGirl offers small repacks of games that download quickly and are easy to install.

Demus

This is what I use for music streaming on my iPhone. It rips from YouTube and has basically all of the functionality of Spotify. Premium is a $6 one-time purchase and makes it entirely ad-free.

qBittorrent

Free, open-source, and ad-free torrent client. I use it any time I torrent anything.

WebTor

Online torrent client. Not my first choice, but if you're on a Chromebook or can't install an actual torrent client for some reason it's better than nothing.

Jivaro's Torrent Search Engine

Looks through multiple torrent sites and gets results. Very useful.

blinkies.cafe

Simple blinkie maker, very fun and cute.

AdGuard DNS

Kind of complicated to set up, but DNS is the only way I've found to block ads on iOS that isn't reliant on Safari. I've tried multiple DNS services and this one has proven to be the most reliable for me.

ID Button Maker

Easy-to-make ID buttons for your site or social media profile.

Open Scrobbler

Allows you to manually scrobble songs to your last.fm profile. Super useful if you listen to music in ways that can't be tracked online, like on vinyl or CD.

BeepBox

Simple online instrumental music maker. I use it all the time when I want to quickly get a song idea down.

sadgrl.online

Archived site full of tools that are super helpful for making your own website.

w3schools

Tons of helpful HTML/CSS/JavaScript (and other programming languages) tutorials.

musictheory.net

Good introductory music theory lessons and tutorials.
